Everything you need to know about hiring a Recall The Day audio guestbook.
An audio guestbook is a restored vintage telephone or reproduction vintage phone that records voice messages from your guests. Instead of writing in a book, they simply lift the receiver, listen to your personal welcome message, and then leave their own recording. You receive all the recordings after your event as a keepsake.
We deliver the phone a few days before your event, with easy to follow instructions so you can get it set up and ready to use. Guests pick up the handset, hear a short prompt (which you can personalise), and record their message. There's no app, no login, nothing to figure out - it's as simple as using a real telephone.
Messages can be up to 5 minutes long, which is plenty for even the most enthusiastic guests. The phone has enough storage for many hours of recordings across your entire event.
Once you return the phone to us, we compile all your recordings and send them to you as digital audio files - usually within a few days. You'll be able to listen back, download, and share them whenever you like.
The phone is delivered 2-3 daysbefore your event, and we ask that it's returned within 3 working days afterwards. This gives you plenty of buffer either side of your celebration.
We use tracked, insured courier delivery. The phone comes in protective packaging with a pre-paid return label included, so sending it back is effortless.
