The hire price is £129, all-in. That includes free tracked delivery anywhere on the UK mainland before your event and a pre-paid return label so sending it back is effortless - no hidden shipping charges.
Yes - a £50 non-refundable booking fee to secure your date is required at the time of booking. This fee covers the administrative costs of your booking and ensures the specific phone you've chosen is reserved exclusively for your event. This is not a security deposit and is not returned after the event.
An audio guestbook is a restored vintage telephone or reproduction vintage phone that records voice messages from your guests. Instead of writing in a book, they simply lift the receiver, listen to your personal welcome message, and then leave their own recording. You receive all the recordings after your event as a keepsake.
We deliver the phone a few days before your event, with easy to follow instructions so you can get it set up and ready to use. Guests pick up the handset, hear a short prompt (which you can personalise), and record their message. There's no app, no login, nothing to figure out - it's as simple as using a real telephone.
Messages can be up to 5 minutes long, which is plenty for even the most enthusiastic guests. The phone has enough storage for many hours of recordings across your entire event.
Once you return the phone to us, we compile all your recordings and send them to you as digital audio files - usually within a few days. You'll be able to listen back, download, and share them whenever you like.
Both. You'll receive every message in two versions. The originals are exactly as your guests recorded them: unedited, with all the background music and atmosphere of the day. The studio-enhanced set has each message cleaned up to reduce background noise, balance volume levels and bring voices forward, so even messages left beside the dance floor are clear and easy to listen to. Both are delivered as digital audio files you can download, keep and share.
The phone is delivered 2-3 days before your event, and we ask that it's returned within 3 working days afterwards. This gives you plenty of buffer either side of your celebration.
We use tracked, insured courier delivery. The phone comes in protective packaging with a pre-paid return label included, so sending it back is effortless.
Yes - we deliver free to anywhere on the UK mainland. For the Scottish Highlands, islands and Northern Ireland, please get in touch and we'll confirm options for your date. We don't currently deliver outside the UK.

Absolutely - and we'd love to help you with this. You can record your own welcome message for guests to hear when they pick up the receiver, or we can create one for you.
